Dr. Ghosh is a biostatistician by training and has made important contributions to a number of studies on air pollution and health in India. He is serving as an Expert Group member of the ICMR-Task Force for Impact assessment from January 2018 and as a Technical Advisory Committee member of the Methodology Group of the MOHFW sponsored study ongoing at ICMR from February 2017.
