Prof. Venkataraman’s research focuses on the chemistry and physics of aerosol particles, as related to air quality, air pollution control and climate, and to engineering nanoparticles for drug delivery.

Her research interest is in Energy-emissions modelling, air-quality and climate simulations, aerosol chemistry and source apportionment, nano-droplet aerosol spray drying, nanoparticle aerosol generation and control.

The Venkataraman group aims to use aerosol science to serve society, through a diversity of   environmental to medical applications, with strong local relevance.
